My name is Circe Tsui. I am in my 3rd semester of the MS in Health Informatics with University of Texas School of Health Information Science at Houston. My undergraduate degree is in computer information system. I have worked in the health IT / health informatics field for 10 years. I am living in Atlanta, GA and currently employed by the Emory University Research and Health Sciences IT. My areas of interest include knowledge modeling and human (provider and patient) centered design. I have built a diabetes management support system which produces clinical flowsheet, reminder and provders' report cards from scratch. I have learned from my experiences that clinical decision support system does not always work. I would like to learn from this class the best strategy to make a clinical decision support system work.
