Use of common, floor-level computer login for clinical results review

Each floor was assigned one login and password (not order entry but lab and record review).

Everyone, nurses, residents, medical students, used the same login.

Of course even hoping this would allow any security breeches or HIPAA violations to be tracked to one floor was futile; as people moved from floor to floor they used the first login they learned. Unless they forgot it and then they learn the one for the new floor.
