Andrew Smith MD MSCI MMHC is Chief of the Division of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine and medical director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He completed an internship and residency in general pediatrics, a clinical fellowship in pediatric cardiology and a clinical fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. He also completed a senior clinical fellowship in cardiac critical care at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and a Master of Management in Health Care from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.
